With over two decades of experience in funeral care, Howard brings both heart and guidance to every family he serves. He began his career in 1999 with Sunset Funeral Homes in El Paso and joined the Sunset Memorial Oaks team in New Braunfels in 2020.
Howard leads our New Braunfels location with decades of experience in funeral service and a heart for helping families navigate loss with dignity and grace. Known for his calm presence, detailed professionalism, and genuine care, Howard ensures that every service reflects the family’s wishes and their loved one’s legacy.

Located in the heart of New Braunfels, our funeral home offers a peaceful and modern setting for families to gather, reflect, and celebrate life. This location was opened with a simple mission: to bring Sunset Memorial Oaks’ trusted, family-centered care to a growing community.

At this location, families have access to: 

  • Full-service funeral planning — including traditional services, memorials, and celebrations of life.
  • Cremation coordination — handled with direct oversight and the same high standard of care, even when performed off-site.
  • Pre-planning guidance — led by caring staff members who listen and help you make informed decisions with confidence. 

With its serene interiors, welcoming atmosphere, and knowledgeable team, our New Braunfels location offers a calming place to begin the journey of remembrance.
