Winford Henry Went, age 80, entered into rest July 1, 2007, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born March 11, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty J. Went, parents Henry and Lenna Went, granddaughter Donna K. Went and sister Louise Taylor. Left to cherish his memory is his son Eddy Went and wife Sandy, daughter Jerrie Hinostrosa and husband Luis. Two grandchildren Leanna Barajas and husband Jesse, Leonard Went. Four great-grandchildren: Andrew Rodriquez, Adrian Rodriquez, Jose Burdick and Tristin Went, all of Midland. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 4, 2007 from 2:00PM to 6:00PM, in Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 1:00PM, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Roosevelt, Texas. Military Honors will conducted by the United States Honor Guard.
