Wenceslao (Lalo) Castellanos, Jr., 79 years old, joined our Heavenly Father on March 17, 2022. He was born on March 3, 1943, in Del Rio, Texas. He is proceeded in death, by his parents, Wenceslao Castellanos, Sr. and Olivia Villarreal Castellanos; his sister, Alicia Zuniga and nephew Reggie Zuniga. Lalo is survived by his wife of 55 years, Maria Esther Castellanos; daughters Silvia Fischer and husband Kirk, Yvonne Castellanos, Monica Calderon and Herminia Bittle and husband Larry; brother Jesse Castellanos and wife Karina; sisters Cecilia Padilla and husband Albert, Romelia Rubio, Norma Rodriguez; grandchildren Angelica, Kayla, Angel, Austin, Isabella, and Emma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Lalo was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Lalo loved sports, BBQs, dancing and making people laugh. He was a hard worker and volunteered as an usher at the St. Joseph Church for 53 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 18, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home with a Rosary starting at 5:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 9:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment to follow after mass at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
