Victoria Padilla Morales, age 94, entered into rest Monday, July 16, 2018 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born November 17, 1923 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis "Wicho" Morales. Parents Pablo Morado Padilla and Ofilia Losoya Griner Padilla. Infant daughter Maria Morales. Siblings; Juan R. Padilla, Alfredo"Blackie" Padilla, Pablo Griner Padilla and Nelda Padilla Martinez. Victoria began working at a very early age. She was employed at M & S Clinic (old Del Rio National Bank building, 6th floor ) in the late 30's, early 40's where she manned the elevator. She also worked at Laughlin Air Force Base during WWII where she rode a scooter and delivered base mail. She was employed at Hicks-Ponder in the early 50's. Left to cherish her memory are her brothers Salvador Griner Padilla (Lupe), Carlos Griner Padilla, Neri Leonardo Griner Padilla (Jovita), Alonso M. Padilla and sister Eustaqia Griner Padilla de Paez. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday. July 21, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
