Victor Manuel Gonzalez, age 77, entered into rest on Friday, September 4, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on February 27, 1949, in Del Rio, Texas.

Victor is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nohemi Sanchez Gonzalez; his parents, Juan and Amelia Gonzalez; his siblings, Juan Gonzalez, Arnoldo Gonzalez, and Adelina Sanchez. Son-in-law: Arnoldo Rosas.

He is survived by his beloved children Victor Manuel Gonzalez Jr., Beverly Rosas, Narcisco (Rebecca) Gonzalez, Erica (Jeff) Flores, and Monica Gonzalez. Grandchildren: Victor Manuel (Holly) Gonzalez III, Sabrina Gonzalez, Serena Gonzalez, Romero Gonzalez; Larissa Rosas, Clarissa Rosas, Arnoldo Rosas Jr.; Nathaniel Gonzalez, Yazmyn Gonzalez, Analeigh Gonzalez; Andrea Sanchez, Aaliyah (Angel) Hernandez, Alexandra Sanchez, Luis Sergio Sanchez III. Great-grandchildren: Summerlyn Gonzalez, Alijah and Avery Hernandez. His sister Guadalupe Agustin and numerous nephews and nieces.

Victor graduated from Del Rio High School in 1968. After graduation, he proudly left to serve in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. Following his military service, Victor began his career with H-E-B, where he dedicated 35 years of hard work and service before retiring.

Victor will always be remembered for his great sense of humor and the many jokes that brought laughter to those around him. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His love for his family was evident in every moment they shared, and the memories he created with them will forever remain in their hearts.

Serving as pallbearers will be Victor Gonzalez III, Nathan Gonzalez, Luis Sanchez III, Jeff Flores, Angel Hernandez, Francisco Soto III, Joe Rosas Jr, and Jorge Belmares. Honorary pallbearers will be AJ Rosas and Romeo Gonzalez.

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time and have been entrusted to Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Homes, Del Rio, Texas, (830) 778-2020. Serving families with dignity and respect.
