Vicenta V. Sanchez, age 88, entered into rest February 17, 2009, in Del Rio, Texas. She was born April 5, 1920 in San Pedro, Coah., Mexico. She was a faithful member of the Iglesia El Tabernaculo Asambleas de Dios for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband Marcos M. Sanchez, son Juan V. Sanchez. Parents Miguel and Agapita Sanchez. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Raul H. V. Sanchez and wife Martina of Fort Worth, Secundino V. Sanchez and wife Josefina of Fort Worth, Jose V. Sanchez and wife Maria de la Luz, Martin V. Sanchez and wife Barbara of Galesburg, Ill., and Alfredo V. Sanchez of Del Rio. Daughters; Bertha Alicia Cerda and husband Alfredo of Del Rio, and Norma Dominguez and husband Wenseslado of San Angelo, Texas. Brothers; Casimiro Varela of Ciudad Acuna, Manuel Varela of Fort Worth, Natividad Varela of Veracruz, Mexico, Miguel Varela of San Francisco, CA., Jose Angel Varela of Monterrey, Mexico, Lino Varela of Del Rio, Gumercindo Varela of San Antonio, Texas. Sisters Hilaria Araujo and Estefana Hernandez of Del Rio. 35 grandchildren, 72 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Those with the honors of serving as Pallbearers: Gerardo Cerda Jr., Edgardo Sanchez, Paco Sanchez, Sergio Sanchez Jr., Damian Sanchez, Jesus Reyna Jr., and Alondra Yeackle. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 19, 2009, 3:00pm-9:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM. Chapel Services are scheduled for Friday, February 20, 2009, 10:00am, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
