Velia B. Medina, age 82, entered into rest May 9, 2008 in Austin, Texas. She was born January 10,1926 in Ciudad Acuna, Coah., Mexico. She is preceded in death by her husband Juan Acosta Medina, Daughter: Elida Medina, grandson RJ Medina, Brothers: Guadalupe Bosquez, Roberto Bosquez, Jose Maria Bosquez, Sisters: Maria Acosta Bosquez, Ofelia Bosquez Venegas, Consuelo Partida, Josefina Bosquez Lopez. Left to Cherish her memory are her children: Armando Medina wife Susie, Ambrosio Medina and wife Eva, Ruben Medina, Rogelio Medina and wife Teresa Gee. Daughters: Dora Elia Zimmermann and husband Harold, Maria J. Medina, Leticia Medina Mendieta and husband Isidro, Adelaida Fira and husband Eugenio. Sister Berta Rodriguez. Also survived by 20-grandchildren and 6-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Her grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 5:00p.m.-9:00p.m.at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30p.m.. Service will be held Monday, May 12, 2008 at 2:00p.m., Primera Iglesia Bautista, Pastors Ruben Chairez and Mateo Rendon, officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
