Valeria Cantu, age 24, of Del Rio, Texas passed away unexpectedly on October 13th 2022.

Valeria was born on October 31st, 1997 in Berlin, Wisconsin. Daughter of Heriberto and Sandra Cantu.

Valeria is preceded in death by her Grandmother: Maria Magdalena Lozano, Grandfather: Ricardo Lozano, Grandmother: Elida Maltos Cantu, Grandfather: Heriberto Cantu Sr., and an Uncle: Rolando Cantu.

She is survived by her parents Heriberto and Sandra Cantu, sisters: Anabella Hight (Jesse Hight) and Clara Cantu-Leach (Thomas Leach), Nephews Thomas Leach, Jesse Hight, Lorenzo Hight, and Niece, Caroline Leach.

Valeria was a 2016 graduate of Del Rio High School and a 2017 graduate of Southwest Texas Junior College, where she achieved a certificate in Child Development. Valeria was employed by the San Felipe Del Rio School District.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home on Sunday, October 16th from 4:00pm-7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 17th at 9:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
