Trinidad S Gracia, a long-time resident of Del Rio, died Thursday, the 25th of March at Santa Rosa Northwest Hospital in San Antonio. Born in 1931 in the small ranch community of San Pedro outside of San Benito, TX, �"La Bebe,"� as she was affectionately known by her immediate family, relocated to Del Rio in the early 60"�s with her husband, Gumecindo T. Gracia and 5 children. Two additional sons were born in Del Rio. For the next 40 plus years, Trinidad dedicated herself to her family. She was an exquisite cook and enjoyed conveying her love through food which included frequent deliveries to elderly neighbors. Additionally, she enjoyed visits from her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Gumecindo T Gracia and son Ruben S Gracia. She is survived by daughters, Generosa (Janie) Ramon and husband, Simon R Ramon and Patricia Morales of Del Rio, Texas; Rosalinda Gracia Zapata of San Antonio; Sons, Gumecindo T Gracia, Jr. of Argyle, Tx; David S Gracia and wife, Didi H Gracia and Alejandro S Gracia of San Antonio, Texas. Additionally she leaves 6 Grandchildren; Ruben & Daniel Ramon, Charles Zapata III, Hector Mario Guerra, David & Joel Gracia; And 2 Great Grandchildren; Roman Guerra and Brooke Zapata. A viewing and rosary service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010, 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, Chapel of Remembrance. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 29, 2010, 10:00am, San Pedro Catholic Church, San Pedro, Texas. Interment to follow at San Pedro Cemetery, San Pedro, Texas.
