Terry Alexander went to his heavenly home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 after a long, hard fight with cancer. Terry was born in Pennsylvania on March 30, 1964 to David and Barbara Alexander. He served in the United States Air Force for four years and continued serving at L.A.F.B. for 34 years as a Civil Service aircraft machinist. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, David and Barbara and his "mom", Gwen McGonagill. He is survived by his wife, Patti McGonagill Alexander and "dad" Glenn McGonagill. Four children, Stephanie Thomas & husband Joshua, Brandon Alexander & wife Leyla, Dylan McGonagill & wife Michelle and Matthew Hunkin & wife Brittany. Five grand-children, Brandon, Haley, Aiden, Audrey and Jolee. 3 brothers, Timmy Alexander, Shad Alexander & wife Deborah, Thomas Alexander and one sister, Bobbi Hostetler & spouse Brandon Shabloski, numerous nieces and nephews. Terry was a beloved friend, co-worker and family man and will be missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the many doctors who worked so diligently to provide him quality of life and the wonderful hospice workers who provided such comfort and care to us all. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Del Rio, would be an honor to Terry. A memorial service honoring Terry's life will be held Saturday, October 6, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM with a dedication beginning at 10:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.
