Teresa Daniels age 83, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 22, 2024, in Del Rio, Texas. Teresa was a woman who brought light and love wherever she went, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Teresa's memory will be forever cherished by her daughter, Patricia Simien of Houston, TX, her son Danny Remo of Del Rio, TX, her Beloved granddaughter, Catrina (Manuel) Reynoso of UT, grandsons Eddie (Jaclyn) Remo of UT, Solomon Remo of UT, Peter (Kasey) Washington of UT, and Albert Simien of Houston, TX. Additionally, she leaves behind 11 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and a cherished longtime family friend, Joe Martinez.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 42 years Belton Daniels, her son Tom Remo and many other cherished loved ones that will be waiting to greet her with open arms.
In life, Teresa found joy in simple pleasures such as tending to her yard, taking leisurely rides around the city, and listening to music. She took great pride in her home and her yard, creating a welcoming space for her family and friends to gather and make lasting memories together. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
A viewing for Teresa will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Oaks from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A chapel service will take place on Saturday, August 31, 2024, starting at 10:00 am followed by her burial at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
Following the burial the family would like to invite everyone to a luncheon to be held at Plaza Hall 405 Cantu Street.
As we bid farewell to Teresa, let us hold onto the memories of her laughter, her kindness, and the love she shared so generously with all those around her. She will be forever missed and eternally remembered as a beacon of light in the lives of those she touched.
