Sylvia A. Jaquez, age 66, entered into rest on Friday, January 3, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on May 3, 1958 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jorge Alarcon and Francisca Alarcon.

She is survived by her children: Jose Alfredo Jaquez (Angelica), Luis Angel Jaquez (Monica) and Reyes Jaquez (Andrea), as well as her brother Jorge Alarcon (Martina), grandchildren Arale Amelia Jaquez and Reyes Jaquez Jr, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Sylvia worked for the SFDRCISD for 17 years, and enjoyed music, dancing and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
