Sylvia Ann Bolner Bulmanski

May 29, 1949 - July 2, 2025

Ann was born in Del Rio, Texas, to David Joseph and Virginia Mae Bolner. She attended Sacred Heart Academy and Del Rio High School, graduating in 1967. Ann represented the city of Del Rio as Miss Amistad at one of the first Fiesta de Amistad Celebrations. Following high school graduation, she attended Del Rio Cosmetology School and became a state-licensed hairdresser. She went on to further her education at Southwest Texas Jr. College, Southwest Texas State University, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from East Texas State University.

On one of her many trips following graduation, Ann traveled to Tucson, Arizona, to visit family friends and there decided to accompany them on their move to Florida. Upon arriving in Tampa she took employment as an accountant with an air conditioning company where she met and later married Richard Bulmanski. They eventually opened and operated two separate air conditioning businesses of their own in the Tampa area. She maintained the business portion of both companies for many years. Following the closing of those businesses, Ann was not ready for retirement and continued working in the accounting field for dear friends, Tammy and Dan Hart at Tampa Contracting Services.

Ann was an active parishioner of Most Holy Name Catholic Church, serving the Parish School, the St. Mary and St. Ann Society, the Margaret Scarfia Program, St Vincent de Paul, and chairman of numerous projects. As an accomplished seamstress and crafter, she chaired many church bazaars and fundraisers. Her recipe for flan cake topped requested items at numerous events.

Ann enjoyed travel and as a faithful daughter came to visit her parents in Del Rio every year. She traveled abroad visiting several Holy Sites in Europe. She also enjoyed sailing and boating in the Florida waters. She always welcomed visitors and was anxious to show them the sites.

Following the death of her husband, Ann relocated to Bellville, Texas, living with her sister, Tammy. At the time of her death, she resided at Silversage Living Center in Brenham, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bulmanski, her parents, David and Virginia Bolner,and her brothers, David John Bolner and Bob Anthony "Tony" Bolner.

Ann is survived by her son, Richard Anthony Bulmanski of St. Petersburg, Florida; brother, Joey Bolner (Bonnie) of Del Rio; sister, Tammy Sconyers; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and many friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E. Losoya St, Del Rio, TX; a recitation of the Holy Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 AM. The internment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, end of 2nd St, Del Rio, TX.
