Sharon Kay Fox, loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Sister, born on Sept 1, 1949, to John andRuby Martin of Oklahoma City, OK. Sharon went to be with her heavenly Father on SaturdaySept. 3, 2022. Sharon met the love of her life, John Robert Fox, in March of 1967 and married him onNovember 3, 1967. They were happily married for 55 years. They were true teammates andSharon was the most devoted wife for which a husband could ask. Sharon has beenbrokenhearted ever since Bob left this earth in May. Sharon graduated from Sam Houston State University, TX with a degree in elementaryeducation. She was an exceptional pre-K teacher, and was recognized as one of the best. Shefrequently taught from the floor with smiling kids surrounding her. She loved and cared forthem as her own. Sharon took it upon herself to help clothe many of the children in needwhere she taught. After 26 exemplary years of teaching she felt it was time to retire. She lovedto read, study the Bible, crochet, and she loved to cook. Sharon was an excellent cook and enjoyed serving others. If you ever stayed in Sharon's homeyou know she made the best waffles and eggs for breakfast. She was an artist in the kitchen andlasagna was one of her specialties. You never left her home hungry. She always loved toentertain family and friends. Sharon was also known for her kindness and gentleness. She had such a sweet spirit about her.She was always there for her daughters, Paula and Denice and would cheerfully and eagerly doanything for them that was needed. She loved her family and enjoyed time with them bycooking or celebrating an event. Sharon enjoyed their home at Canyon Lake where they retired. She loved spending time on theupper deck taking in a sun set or staying up late and observing the stars. She also enjoyedwatching the sunrise in the mornings. Sharon believed that God clearly displays His glory in hiscreation and in the heavens above, and in observing these things she found peace.Most importantly she loved her family, and adored her 4 grandchildren, Hunter, Chandler, Kayla,and Samantha. To them she was affectionately known as Nana. She never missed anopportunity to spend time with them or to share in their events. She has made each one ofthem a crochet throw, which they will forever cherish. Sharon always took the time to listen toeach one of them and make them feel very special as she was gifted with a sweet, loving &calming spirit.Sharon is survived by her two daughters, Paula Husband and spouse Jeff of Canyon Lake, Texas,and Denice Fox of Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by her sister Debbie Glenn of OklahomaCity, whom she cherished as a true friend.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2 pm at Stonewater FellowshipChurch, New Braunfels, TX.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to www.stonewaterfellowship.org. orwww.samaritanspurse.com.
