Saul Olivan Avila, age 79, entered into rest on August 20, 2026, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on June 7, 1947, in Cd. Acuña Coah. Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margarita Rodriguez, and his mother, Julia Olivan Avila.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Nereida Peña, Saul Olivan Jr., and Brenda Delgado; his siblings, Daniel Olivan, Luis Olivan, and Gerarda Sanchez; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Monday, August 24, 2026, from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM, with a Chapel Service at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
