Sara Rodriguez de Tovar, age 79, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in Del Rio,Texas. Sara was born on August 27, 1944 in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico to Alfonso and Benita Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death are her parents and six siblings; Julian Rodriguez, Nicolas Rodriguez, Eluterio Rodriguez, Maria Reyes, Eva Reyes, and Guadalupe Rodriguez.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years Gilberto Tovar and children; Gilberto A. Tovar (Ismene), Juan Carlos Tovar, and Adriana Flores (Rafael). Grandchildren; Sara M. Rojas, Gilberto A. Tovar Jr., Brennan Mark Tovar, Nicolas G. Flores, and Marco S. Flores. Great grandchildren; Hazel M. Tovar and Elijah G. Tovar. Sister; Juanita Ortiz and numerous nieces and nephews.
