Sara Mendez Casas, age 78, entered into rest on Monday, September 6, 2021 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on October 2, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Virginia Casas. Sisters, Aurora Castillo, Maria Guadalupe Valdez and brother, Gabriel Valdez. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ruben Mendez. Daughter Sarah (Juanito) Payne, grandson and granddaughters. Sister, Tere (Abraham) Garcia, Enriqueta Alvarado, Maria (Juan) Dominguez. Numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Prayer Service at 6:15pm. Services conclude after the visitation.
