He was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Aurora Patiño; brothers Miguel Patiño, Frank Patiño, and Margarito Patiño; sisters Cecilia Flores and Ofelia Hernandez.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Maria Rosario Patiño; his daughter Corina Patiño; brothers, Juan Patiño and Abelardo Patiño; sisters Delia Patiño, and Amelia Patiño; granddaughter Crystal Mayfield (Casey), Blanca Taylor (Justice); grandson Javier Aguilera, Jr.; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
