Samuel Robert
Cholico
Oct 28, 1949 — Sep 12, 2026
Schertz, Texas
In Loving Memory of a Beloved Husband to Amalia Morales Cholico, Father to Bob,Randy,Sam,Carlos,Chris,Anthony Cholico, Grandfather, and Friend. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, coach and cherished friend, whose life was defined by strength, courage, loyalty, and love.He was a man who proudly served his country, dedicating himself to both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army. His commitment to serving others reflected the kind of man he was—disciplined, dependable, courageous, and always willing to stand up for what he believed in.Beyond his military service, he carried that same dedication into his passion for martial arts. Martial arts taught him discipline, perseverance, respect, and inner strength—qualities that he carried throughout every chapter of his life. He understood that true strength was not simply measured by what a person could do, but by how they treated others and how they stood strong through life's challenges. To his children, he was a father who provided guidance, protection, wisdom, and love. To his grandchildren, he was a proud grandfather whose presence for every game he could attend, stories, lessons, and unconditional love will remain in their hearts forever. To his friends, he was loyal and genuine—a man who could be counted on and whose friendship was treasured. He leaves behind memories that will never fade: the lessons he taught, the laughter he shared, the stories he told, and the countless ways he showed the people around him that they mattered. His life was one of service, perseverance, and love. Though he is no longer with us, the strength he gave to his family, the values he lived by, and the memories he created will continue through every generation that follows. He may have served his country as a Marine and a soldier, but his greatest legacy will always be the people who loved him.He was a protector, a warrior, a teacher, a father, a grandfather, and a friend. He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
Semper Fidelis.
