In Loving Memory of Salvador Mtanous Castaño "Chava"

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvador Mtanous, a man who filled the lives of everyone around him with joy, warmth, and laughter. Known for his lively spirit and boundless love for conversation, he could brighten anyone's day with his wit and laughter. He was someone who never judged, always listened, and showed kindness to everyone he met.

Chava had a deep love for his family and a pride that he wore with a quiet, humble grace. His pride extended to his beloved mother, his siblings, and dear friends who became like family. Nothing made him prouder than being a father, and he held that title with joy and dedication.

He had a special love for his roosters, a small but treasured part of his life that brought him peace and happiness.

Preceded in death by his father Jose Mtanous, Uncle Torino, and Nevita

Survived by his mother Socorro Castaño, his wife Luz Maria Gamboa Mtanous, his daughters Mayra Mtanous, Cynthia Mtanous, his sons Salvador Ivan Mtanous, Mariano Mtanous. Step children Karen and Gorge Martinez. Granddaughters Angelica and Mariah, Grandsons Jacob, Omar, Jose, and Stevie; step-grandchildren Kendra, Yamilet, Luz Gabriela, Angel y Arnoldo. He also leaves behind his siblings Miguel Mtanous, Alfredo Mtanous, Hector Mtanous, Elias Mtanous, Yamille Mtanous, Blanca Mtanous, and Alia Mtanous. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends that he loved with all his heart.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
