Salvador T. Hernandez, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in New Braunfels, Texas. He was born on September 20, 1922 to Ramon Hernandez and Juanita Trevino Hernandez in Poth, Texas. He is preceded in death by his wife Maria Magdalena Vidaurri; parents, Ramon and Juanita Hernandez; and sons Hector Javier Hernandez and Miguel Hernandez. He is survived by his sons, Arturo Gerardo Hernandez (Sandra Ann) and Juan Alberto Hernandez; grandchildren Linda Magdalena Sanchez, Renee Denise Muller, Yvette Marie Villarreal, Christina Edna Moran, Hector Javier Hernandez Jr., Leon M. Hernandez, Tessa Hernandez, Alejandro Miguel Hernandez, and Nathan Gerard Hernandez. Serving as Pall Bearers includes; Leon Hernandez, Nate Hernandez, Peter Sanchez, Josh Marquez, Omar Moran. Honorary Pall Bearer, Alejandro Miguel Hernandez. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Chapel in New Braunfels, Texas. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 245 S Hidalgo Ave, New Braunfels, TX 78130 Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2:00 PM where the Military Honors will be rendered.
