Ruben Zamora Ortiz, age 75, entered into rest on Thursday, February 5, 2026. He was born on September 30, 1950.

He is preceded in death by his mother Antonia Ortiz Alvarado.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years Monica Zamora and  his children Ruben Zamora Jr. (Nichole), Rafael Zamora (Carmelita), Raul Zamora , Ricardo Zamora (Mary Rodriguez), Roberto Zamora (Stephani Silos), Rene Zamora (Alejandra), Olimpia Zamora (Roberto Muniz), Dana Zamora, and Monica Zamora (Marco Garcia).

The visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with a chapel service at 6:30 PM, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a chapel service at 12:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Ruben Zamora Jr., Roberto Muniz, Roberto Muniz Jr., Erick Teran Dana Zamora, and Juan Rivera.
