Ruben Luna, age 74, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 18, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1951, to Damasio and Eudelia Luna in New Braunfels, Texas.

Ruben shared 48 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Diana Luna, who preceded him in death.

He was a devoted husband, brother, uncle and friend who was known for his great sense of humor, distinctive laugh, and for the joy he brought to his family.

He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys, spending time with his loved ones and caring for his pets.

He is survived by his brothers, Ramon Luna (wife Dora) and Reynaldo Luna (wife Yolanda); his numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends who will miss him dearly.

Pallbearers will be his nephews, Eddy Luna, Rene Luna, Adam Luna, Reynaldo Luna Jr., Sergio Morales, Lorenzo Morales, Gerardo Flores, and his lifelong friend Rudy Valdez.

The family appreciates those who have offered prayers and support during this difficult time.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Business IH-35, New Braunfels, Texas. A rosary will begin at 1:00pm. A committal service will be held at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 TX-46, New Braunfels, Texas at 2:30pm, on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.
