It is with a heavy heart that we announce that our beloved Rosahilda Zamora, or Rosie as most knew her, has gone to heaven to be with God. She now lives on in spirit through her husband, Ruben Zamora, her daughter, Rosamayra Zamora, and her son, Rubenangel Zamora. Rosie was born March 21, 1967 in Horizonte, Durango. She later relocated to Chicago, Illinois briefly before setting up roots in Del Rio, Texas where she graduated from Del Rio High school. A few years later she would meet and then marry her husband Ruben Zamora on June 19, 1987. It is around that time that she also began her career at Walmart which would span 36 years of service where most would learn of her positive and joyful attitude and demeanor in the many positions she had throughout her career. Family, friends, and others whose lives were touched by Rosie are invited to reminisce, grieve, and support each other in the name of our beloved Rosie. Visitation will be held Monday, August 8, 2022, 3:00pm-7:00pm at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Dismissal on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, 9:30am from Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home followed by a procession to Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
