Rosa Lopez Tovar, age 80, entered into rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born on September 4, 1945 in Del Rio, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gabriel and Gorgonia Lopez; her brothers, Leonardo and Julio Lopez; and her sister, Clemencia.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jose D. Tovar; her daughters, Letty Tovar (Jerry Nanez), Vanessa Rodriguez (Vidal), and Kathy Flores (Segundo); her grandsons, Danny Dominguez (Liz), Jaime Dominguez (Elizabeth), Juan Veliz (Monica), and Jose Veliz (Bianca); her granddaughters, Sabrina Veliz (Steven), Olivia (Chris), and Monica; as well as 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Funeral services conclude after the visitation.
