Rosa R. Escamilla, 89 passed away peacefully at Senior Care of Meadow Creek Nursing Home in San Angelo on Friday September 27, 2018 surrounded by her family she was born in Sanderson Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Alejandro M. Escamilla, her parents Jose Rivera and Tomasa Bustos, Brother Ruben Rivera, Sister Estela Flores and Sister Eleanor Rivera. Left to cherish her memory are her son Alejandro R. Escamilla, Jr. (Nora), Sister Consuelo Maldonado (Manuel) and Brother Juan Rivera. Her grandchildren Rachel Marcovitch (David), Melissa Escamilla (Robert), Kristy Billings (Wes), Georgianna Escamilla, Alejandro Escamilla III (Pamela) and Alexis Escamilla and 11 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be in Sanderson, Texas on Thursday October 4, 2018; viewing at 10:00 AM, Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 11:00 AM and a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon at St. Mary's Catholic Church located at 209 E. Hackberry Street. Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Wes Billings, David Marcovitch, Robert Farley, Frankie Flores, Jose Luis Rivera, Andres Rivera, Ruben Rivera and Manuel Rivera. Interment to follow at Santa Rita Cemetery in Sanderson, Texas.
