Roque Taisipic Muna entered into God's everlasting peace and glory on January 28th, 2026 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Piti, Guam on August 28,1961 and resided in Del Rio, Texas since June of 2000. Roque met his wife Michelle, of 39 years, in Guam. Roque was held in the highest regard, admired and known for his selfless service, joking personality, and profound love for his family, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
He was called home to eternal rest with our Heavenly Father at the age of 64. He now joins in death by his parents; Ambrosio & Aurora T. Muna, his in-laws Larry Alvarez & Ana R. Manglona, his son Anthony Joseph Alvarez, his brother Andrew "Dung" & Roland Muna, his sister-in-laws Elizabeth"Liz" Muna, Monica Naputi, & brother-in-law Mark Manglona.
Survivors left to cherish his life are his beloved wife Michelle A. Muna, son Roque T. Muna Jr. "R.J.", daughter-in-law Eva, and grandchildren, Aurora, Ava, & AnaLou Muna; Siblings: Amby "Butch" (Janice), Shirley "Doll" (Frank), Michael, Annette "Nette" (Frank), Franklin "Ko", Frances "Kai" (Joel), Patrick, Kenneth, Geoffrey "GJohn", Thomas "TJ", Rene (Tony); Brother/Sister-in-laws: Annie, Joseph (Carmen), Larry (Sara), Jerry (Kris), Shelia, Robert (Monica), Rudy, Carl "CJ" (Jenn), Cris Summer-kids: Joshua, Elisa, Brenden, Ross, Jorge, Mia, RainaAilyse Muna-Martinez and Numerous other cousins, nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers include: Ross Manglona, Steven Alvarez, George Cabrera, Jesse Zavala, Joshua Huerta, Jorge Torres, Winter Braman, & Raul Uribe.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM; with a recitation of the holy rosary at 6:00 PM.
Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 8:30am - 9:30am at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 7, 2026 at 10:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 307 E. Losoya St, Del Rio, Texas.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
