(Ret.) Capt. D.R.F.D. Ronald Eugene Barber Sr., age 63, entered into rest May 10, 2007 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born October 20, 1943 in Harrisonburg, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents, Seaton and Lorena Barber. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and retired as a Captain from the City of Del Rio Fire Department after 25 years of service. Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 41 years, Thelma Barber. Sons: Ronald Barber Jr., Gary Barber, Eric Barber. Daughter: Roxanne and husband Pedro Abrego Jr. Granddaughters: Krystle Coronado and Amber LeeAnn Barber. Visitation will be held Sunday, May 13, 2007 5:00PM-9:00PM Del Rio Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Monday May 14, 2007 1:00PM, Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post 595.
