Rolando G. Vargas, age 72, entered into rest on June 28, 2025, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on November 7, 1952, in Ciudad Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his parents Alonso Vargas and Rita Gonzalez.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mrs. Guadalupe Vargas, his son Rolando Alonso Vargas, Jorge Daniel Vargas, Rolando Alonso Vargas, Romeo Vargas, Marco Vargas, and Jesus Vargas; his brother Jorge Vargas, and his sisters Luz Angelica Vargas De Leon, and Cecilia Vargas De Villarreal.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas; followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM at Living Stone Worship Center, 190 Western Dr, Del Rio, Texas.
