Roberto M. Soto "Red", age 76, of Del Rio, Texas passed away at his home on March 14, 2021. Red was born on February 10, 1945. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Concha Soto; his sister Anabelle Sattler. Red is survived by his wife of 42 years Rose M. Soto and two sons, Alan C. Cook (JoAnn) and Robert G. Soto (Melanie); two grandchildren Alan Cameron Cook and Cole Grayson Soto; his brother Alfonso Soto Jr. (Becky). Red was a teacher and coach for 36 years with the San Felipe ISD. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He never missed any sport events when it came to his grandson Alan (16). He looked forward to every opportunity to see and speak to his grandbaby Cole Soto on facetime. Family was an important part of his life and he was happiest when the family was together. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM; a memorial service at 5:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Services conclude after the visitation.
