Rita Sue Diaz, aged 55, of Brackettville, Texas, passed away on March 1, 2024, in Brackettville, Texas. She was born on March 26, 1968.

She is survived by her daughter Bryanna Sosa, son Jose Arturo Sosa (Sofia), son Joel Sosa (Linda), son Emiliano Ortiz, grandchildren Olivia, Alejandro, Alicia, father Joe Diaz, sister Anna Diaz, brother Reyes Diaz, sister Rene Villarreal (Gilbert), nephews Aaron, Diego, Christian, niece Analicia, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Rita was preceded in death by her mother, Alicia Diaz.

A ceremony to honor and celebrate Rita's life will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 from 4 pm to 8 pm. The services will take place at Sunset Funeral Home in Brackettville, Texas.
