Ricardo
Lopez
Feb 23, 1960 — May 21, 2024
Ricardo López, age 64 entered eternal rest peacefully on Tuesday May 21st, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer at his family home with this wife and children by his side.
Born on February 23rd, 1960, son to the late Alvaro and Elia López, Ricardo was blessed with three brothers that doubled as best friends. The late Alvaro López Jr, who was described as his partner in crime. Roberto 'Bobby' López whom he admired as a strong leader and businessman. Juan López whom he spent countless weekends with watching NASCAR, the Cowboys and surveying the land.
"Ric"/"Dicky"/"Pato" was truly a wonder. If you were lucky enough to know him, you are probably shaking your head with a small smile remembering the last time y'all talked. You're remembering whatever that talk was about and how the last thing he did was make you laugh, feel loved and slightly bullied. Ric was a kind soul and the most selfless dependable friend. He will most be remembered for his passion for music, his love for fishing and hunting, his obsession with the Cowboys, and mostly the love he had for his family. Ric led a blessed and fulfilled life living the dream of being an irreplaceable part of the family business, and with the love and support of his brothers went on to open his pride and joy, Parts Unlimited. Ric will forever be missed as the life of the party.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 33 years, Viola Guadiana-López. Siblings Bobby (Kelly) López and Juan (Ana) López. Son Alvaro López III, Daughter Brianna López, Nephews Juan (Ashley) López, Roberto López. Nieces Crissy (Evan) Strong, Sandy López, Amanda (Collin) Root.
Special Thank you to the friends that kept his spirits high; Danny "DB", Jac, Joe, and Art.
P.S. If you don't know what it is, just take half.
