Rebecca "Grandma Becky" Rosales, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her family on January 4, 2025. She was born in Robstown, Texas on June 20, 1938 to Jesus and Beatrice Montañez. She married Pablo Rosales, Jr., on December 29, 1957. She is survived by her husband Pablo Rosales, Jr, and their children; George Rosales, Beatrice (Jose) Gomez, Reynaldo (Lucy) Rosales, Alejandro (Grace) Rosales, Ricardo (Anna) Rosales, Patricia (Roy) Martinez, Roberto (Marisela) Rosales, 29 Grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings; Antonio (Janie) Montañez, Maria Delia Martinez, Enrique (Gloria) Montañez, Hector (Aida) Montañez and Irene Rivera She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Beatrice Montañez; Sister; Elida "Lali" Montañez Lagunas, Son; Raul "Bullie" Rosales and her precious furry companions, "Chachita" and "Princey" Becky retired after 33 years from McKenna Memorial Hospital, where she worked in the Newborn nursery as a Nurse Aid/OB tech. She was the initial caregiver for many newborns of the New Braunfels hospital, to include the majority of her grandchildren. Becky was loved by many and always brought joy, compassion and a nurturing heart to all she met. Her passion for fishing, baking, knitting, cooking and the outdoors will be carried on by her family. She admired birdwatching and had a great love for cardinals. Services will be held on January 17, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Oaks, New Braunfels, Texas, from 4-8 PM, with a prayer service from 6-7 PM.
