Wife, Mother, Sister, Daughter, Friend — no matter how you knew her, you knew her laugh, her radiant smile, and her generous heart. Rebecca Diana Rojas, 52, passed away on February 9, 2026.

Rebecca Diana Aguilar Rojas, born in Houston, Texas in 1973 to Amado Aguilar and Emma Rincon, was raised in a home filled with music, movies, family vacations, and a deep appreciation for togetherness. Those early lessons — along with a love for travel and shared experiences — shaped the way she lived her life. Her legacy was one of warmth and loyalty, a curious spirit, a gift for conversation and humor, and a heart that always made room for others.

Rebecca met Samuel as teenagers — just 16 and 15 years old — at Malibu Grand Prix in Houston. They became parents young, forced to grow up faster than most, yet they faced every challenge with courage and love. On May 26, 1992, Rebecca married the love of her life, Samuel Rojas. Shortly after, Samuel joined the United States Army, and together they launched onto the rollercoaster of family and life — holding on tight through every move, every challenge, and every adventure — always side by side, learning and growing together.

From 1992 to 2000, at just 19 years old, Rebecca embraced life in Germany, where she and Samuel raised their growing family. Alongside Joshua and Angelica, they welcomed Abigail and Annalycia, building a lively household filled with love and resilience. Military life would take them from place to place, but Rebecca made every duty station a home. She formed lifelong friendships everywhere she went, bringing people together with her warmth, humor, and genuine care.

After many moves and years of service, Rebecca and Samuel settled in New Braunfels, Texas in 2009. There she built a true home — a place filled with laughter, warmth, and the kind of joy that made every day feel like a celebration. She created a life rooted in hospitality, where friends and family always felt welcome, and every gathering became an occasion to share love, stories, and laughter. Rebecca had a special gift for making people feel seen, heard, and deeply loved. Whether family, friend, or neighbor, no one left her presence without feeling embraced, uplifted, and celebrated.

Rebecca's life was defined by her devotion to her husband and her family, and the many friendships she nurtured across cities, states, and continents. She carried the spirit of adventure wherever she went, becoming a joyful and enthusiastic traveler — a "serial tourist" who embraced every opportunity to explore the world and create memories with those she loved. More than just a traveler, she invited everyone around her to experience life as an adventure, encouraging friends and family to see the world through her curious, joyful eyes. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and unwavering love.

Rebecca's legacy is survived by her devoted husband of over 33 years, Samuel Rojas; her deeply treasured children, Andrew Joshua Rojas, Angelica Jacquelynn Rojas, Abigail Janae Rojas, and Annalycia Samantha Rojas; and her most precious grandchildren, Miguel Alexander, Aaliyah Jasmine, Azaylea Elise, Joseph Amado, and Elena Zara —the lights of her life, who filled her heart with joy.

She is also survived by her loving mother, Emma Rincon, and joins in eternal rest with her beloved father, Amado Aguilar. She is missed dearly by her siblings, John David Aguilar and his wife Tonyah Aguilar and family, Edward Damian Aguilar, and Dolores Deana Geier and her husband Christopher Geier, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who became family through the years.

She will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten.
