Rebecca Gomez, of New Braunfels, Texas passed away on November 4, 2024. She was born in Laredo, Texas on April 9, 1942 to Jose Alvarado and Maria Gallegos. Mrs. Gomez served in the United States Marine Corps and was a proud Marine, wife, and mother. Rebecca is survived by her loving husband Rudy Gomez and son and daughter-in-law, David and Katherine Gomez, and her three grandchildren, Anthony, Andrew and Alexis Gomez. Rebecca was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. Visitation will start at 8:00AM to 9:00AM with a Rosary starting at 9:00AM on Monday, November 11, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and continuing with a 10:30AM Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 409 W. Krezdorn Seguin, Texas 78155.Placement of ashes will be scheduled for a later date at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with United States Marine Corp Honors.
