Raymond M. Valadez, age 93, entered into rest on Saturday, January 17, 2026 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on November 22, 1932 in Del Rio, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia Valadez, son Raymond Valadez, Jr; sisters Beatrice Rivas (Raul Rivas, Sr.), Betty Martinez (Manuel Martinez), and Alicia Lopez (Mike Lopez); nephews Raul Rivas, Jr. (Pino) and Manuel Martinez, Jr.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Mario and Kathy Rivas and family, Sara Sanchez and family, Lydia Cummings and family, Gloria Martinez and family, Romelia Alvarez and family, Rudy Lopez, Raul Rivas, III and Norma Villarreal.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
