Ramon Roman Reyes, age 85, entered into rest on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born on July 19, 1939.

Jesus said to her; I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live and whoever lives and believes in Me, will never die." John 11:25-26

He is survived by his wife, Consuelo Balderas Reyes, whom he has known for over 67 years, his children Raymond Reyes Jr., Daniel Reyes, Belma Reyes, Cynthia Reyes, Marisol Reyes, Felipe Narvaez, his grandchildren, Brittany Galindo, Raymond Reyes III, Ryan Reyes, Destiny Reyes, Gabriel Reyes, Jared Rodriguez, Angel Reyes, Cristina Payne, Selena Castillo, Daniel Reyes, David Reyes and 16 great grandchildren. His brother Gilberto Reyes, Alicia Reyes, Maria E. Aguirre and Rosa Caldera. Preceded in death by his father, Daniel Reyes Ramirez, Mother, Maria Reyes Roman and brother Fernando Reyes.

He enjoyed working hard, creating many things with wood. He loved the outdoors and fishing at Lake Amistad in his boat, also, enjoyed raising his roosters and chickens. His pass time was listening to music, Bible verses and sending messages to his cousins and friends. He was a wonderful grandfather who enjoyed playing with his great grandchildren.

He was a great storyteller. His legacy will live on through us, with the lifetime of memories and stories he has left behind.

Although we will miss him greatly, we find comfort knowing that with his faith in Christ, he will spend eternity in Heaven.
