Our beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandfather - Rafael "Chino" Grajales passed away unexpectedly, taken from this life to be with the Lord on Sunday May 11, 2025, in Del Rio, Texas. He was born in Chiapas, Mexico on March 26, 1947.

Preceding him in death was his mother Ustreberta Torres, Daughter Graciela Guanajuato (Spouse + Francisco Guanajuato).

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Maria I. Grajales, Son: Rafael Grajales Jr, Daughters: Regina Grajales-Ramon (Spouse Ralph Nelson) and Ramona Gutierrez (Spouse Mike Gutierrez) Grandchildren: Francisco Guanajuato, Alejandro Guanajuato, Nathan Ramon, Noah Ramon, Alyssa Parson (Spouse Casey Parsons), Amara Gutierrez, Great Grandchildren: Frankie Guanajuato, Jaxson Parsons, Mason Parsons. Sisters: Maria Luisa Barba (Spouse +Jose Barba) and Sophia Cuellar (Spouse Patricio Cuellar), nephews, nieces and other close relatives and friends.

He spent over 40 years working in construction as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed spending time with family and his wife, meeting family and friends at seafood restaurants or making new friends anywhere he went.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St, Del Rio, Texas.

The pallbearers will be Nathan Ramon, Noah Ramon, Greg Barba, Felix Barba, Rafael Barba, and Joe Barba.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 US Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
