Rafael "Ralph" Almendarez, age 54, entered to rest on Monday, February 12, 2024, in San Antonio, TX.Rafael was born on July 24, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto Almendarez Sr. and Rita De La O Almendarez, brothers Hector Almendarez and Nick Almendarez. Rafael is survived by his wife Edith Salinas Almendarez, his daughters Rhianna, Adamari, Miriam and Anna Leah, brothers Albert (Norma), Alfredo(Mary), Andres (Norma), Rudy (Mary); sisters, Sylvia Garcia (Felipe), and Jamie Mejia (Jesse) and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He was dearly loved and will be missed. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM; Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX. Services will conclude after visitation.
