Prudencio Delgado Narváez, 94, of Palestina, Coahuila, México, passed away on November 9, 2025 at Methodist Metropolitan Hospital in San Antonio, Texas, peacefully surrounded by family.

Born on April 28, 1931 to Gabriel Delgado and Leonarda Narvaez. Prudencio Delgado married Manuela Delgado Solís, and they shared 59 wonderful years together.

He was known for his great love for family, sense of humor, great cooking skills, kindness and hospitality towards others.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Manuela Delgado Solís, son Juan Antonio Delgado, and daughter in-law Nelda Delgado.

Prudencio Delgado is survived by his children Sergio Delgado (spouse Lucinda), Gabriel Delgado, Leonarda Gala (spouse Juan Gala), Armando Delgado (spouse Nicole), Liliana Hernandez (spouse Julio Cesar), Alma DeLeon (spouse Mario), Alvaro Delgado (spouse Hilda), Juan A. Delgado (spouse Mayra). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; recitation of the holy rosary at 5:00 PM; prayer service at 6:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

Visitation will continue on on Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 510 Wernett St., Del Rio, Texas.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
