After a life marked by grace, devotion, and love, Paula ran into the arms of God on February 22, 2026, where her husband of 67 years, Roy, and her daughter, Annette, were waiting to greet her in eternal peace.

Paula Vivian Harris (Lewellen),92, was born in Crockett, Texas, to Jess and Pearl Lewellen. Growing up, she loved to sing and play the piano, and during her high school years she met a young man from a rival school who would become the love of her life, Roy Harris. Together they built a beautiful life and raised three daughters in Pleasanton, Texas. Paula and Roy spent their days blessing others and sharing God's love with everyone they met.

At the age of 46, Paula gained a new title—Grandie—a name that fit her perfectly, as she was truly a "grand" person in every sense. With her sweet, softspoken voice and gentle spirit, she had a way of lighting up every room she entered. In her later years, she moved to New Braunfels to be closer to her daughters, where she enjoyed precious time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Roy Harris; her three sisters, who shared her early years; and her cherished daughter, Annette.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine O'Keefe (husband Terry) and Nancy Hubble (husband Darryl). Paula's legacy continues through her grandchildren— Amy (husband Zach and their four children), Crystal (and her three children), Korben,Alex (and his four children), Mathew (wife Heather and their three children), Jacob (wife Payton and their three children). Each of them carries forward the love, faith, and strength she instilled in her family.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery,Shelter 1 located at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78209. Reception information will be shared soon.
