Paul "Jim" A. Records, Jr., age 86 of Fischer, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his residence. He was born July 2, 1930 in Canadian, Texas to Paul A. Records, Sr. and Susie Mae McLelland Records. "Jim" as most folks new him was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the VFW Post 8573 in Sattler. He worked in civil service before retirement. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Helen Katherine Hight Records; brother Francis Arthur Records; sisters Christeen Maye Records Dendy, Louise (Diddy) Alverna Records Correll and Sudie Adaline Records Reeder; He is survived by his children James Edwin Records of Kyle, TX, Katherine Eileen Records of Liberty Hill, TX and Jayne Ellen Records of Fischer, TX; brother George L. Records; sister Colleen Avis Records Wheeler of Higgins, TX; grandchildren David Elisha Knehr, Dirk Elliot Knehr, Karen Elaine von Rosenberg, James Cody Records, Sr., Sarah Elizabeth Records Garcia, Joseph Paul Macke, Jr., Jacob Andrew Macke and Justin Thomas Macke; great-grandchildren Sahiya Macke, James Cody Records, Jr. and Matthew Records; and his dear friend Annette Marie Webb. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home from 2 PM to 6 PM with the family present from 2 PM to 3 PM to receive friends. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 AM at Fischer Cemetery in Fischer, Texas.
