Patrocinio V. Saavedra, age 81, entered into rest on March 10, 2014 in Del Rio, Texas. He was born April 1, 1932 in Del Rio, Texas. He is preceded in death by his Son Daniel Saavedra, Brother Simon Saavedra, and Sister Diamantina Briones. Left to cherish his memory are his Wife of 51 years Tomasita N. Saavedra, his Sons Baltazar Saavedra and wife Rachael, Agustin Jaime Saavedra, and Raul Saavedra. His Daughters Maricela Jimenez and husband Salvador, Angelica Veliz and husband Juan Jose, and Graciela Fernandez and husband Armando. His Sisters Otila Estrada, Rosalind Ramirez, and Armandina Saavedra. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Gentlemen with the honor of pallbearers: Baltazar Saavedra, Jaime Saavedra, Brandon Fernandez, Juan Jose Veliz, Armando Fernandez, and Gerardo Jr. Leyva. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
