Pascua G. Gomez, Age 93, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Brackettville, Texas. She was born April 8, 1928, in Brackettville, Texas to Guadalupe Garcia and his wife Eduviges Sandoval. She was a lifelong resident of Kinney County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas Gomez Sr., and daughter, Mary G. Ward. She is survived by her sons, Tomas Jr.; Johnny and wife Bertha; Leonard and wife Elsa of New Braunfels, and daughter Margaret Wright and husband Johnnie of Leominster, Mass., and son-in-law Douglas Ward. Also, survived by 8 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are: Carlos Gomez, Tommy Gomez, Cassandra Gomez, Cristiana Gomez, Leonardo Gomez, Joe Kelly; Honorary Pallbearers are:Douglas Ward Sr., Jimmy Bader, Tomas Gomez, Johnny Gomez, Douglas Ward Jr., Tommy Gomez, IV, Tristan Gomez, Tatum John Gomez. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Brackettville Sunset Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 12:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery.
