Oscar Venegas, age 72, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born in Cd. Acuña, Coahuila México on February 11, 1951.

He was preceded in death by his parents Refugio Venegas and Ofilia Bosquez; his brother Jose Angel Venegas; his sister Marylú Venegas Vda. de Gaona.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Mrs. Juanita Venegas; his daughter, Mary E. Gaona and her husband Eric I. Gaona; his son Oscar H. Venegas; his grandchildren Renata Venegas, Oscar A. Venegas, Aaliyah N. Gaona, and Alexis B. Gaona; his sisters Olga Venegas de Muñoz and Hilda Venegas Bosquez; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Gentlemen with the Honor of Pallbearers are Oscar H. Venegas, Eric I. Gaona, Eric I. Gaona, Jr., David Silva, Jose A. Hernandez, Israel Salazar, Cesar E. Muñoz, and Rodolfo E. Gaona.

The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
