Omar Octavio Najera, of New Braunfels, Texas, passed away on November 28, 2024. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on July 4, 2002, to Perla Castro and Oscar Najera. He is survived by his parents; Perla (Plutarco) Castro and Oscar Najera. His wife, Yamile Najera and daughters; Sophia and Penelope Najera. Omar's siblings; Kassandra (Jesse) Fernandez, Oscar Manuel (Samantha) Najera Jr., Klarissa (Juan) Salinas, Ociel Najera. His paternal grandparents; Eva and Robert Williams. Omar's aunts and uncles; Anabel Najera, Vanessa (David) Navarro, Rocio (Ana) Najera-Acosta, Isaac Perez, Oscar Prado, Rudy Prado II, His nieces and nephews; Karly Rae Salinas, Emory Najera, Elias Najera , Jesse Ohms Fernandez. Cousins; Giselle Perez, Sophia Perez, Belisario Perez, Rudy Prado III, Miguel Prado, Jordan Prado, Brianna Prado, Gabriel Segura, Leslie Segura, Alisha Najera, David Navarro Jr., Stephanie Navarro, Christopher Navarro, Rebecca Martinez and Esteban Martinez. Omar was a big kid with big toys. He was a total adrenaline junkie and thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles, going to the shooting range, mudding, playing video games, fishing, cooking, barbecuing and collecting knives. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 415 S. Business 35 New Braunfels, Texas, with interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Cemetery at 11:30 am.
