Ofelia Esperanza Lake age 75, entered into rest on May 11, 2014 in Del Rio, Texas. She was born April 27, 1939 in Del Rio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Gwyn Lake, Parents Filemon Ortiz and Bonifacia Esquivel Ortiz, Son David Lake and brother Abel Ortiz. She was a crossing guard for over 30 years at East Side Elementary. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Larry Lake and John Lake, Brother Filemon Ortiz Jr, and wife Maria Elena Ortiz. Sister, Norma Powell. Sister-in-law, Guadalupe Ortiz. Granddaughter, Caroline Jean Lake. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 4:00PM – 9:00PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Prayer service will be held at 7:00PM. Chapel Service will be held Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00AM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. Gentlemen with the honors of Pallbearers: John Lake, Larry Lake, Abel Ortiz Jr, Abraham Ortiz, Ariel Ortiz, and Arturo Ortiz. Interment to follow at San Felipe Cemetery.
