Nicolas Franco Zapata, age 70, entered into rest on December 20, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on April 14, 1955 in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico. He was preceded in death by his wife Antonia Romero Franco.

He is survived by his children Nick Franco, Selena Franco, and Griselda Franco (Jose Segura); siblings Martin Franco, Jose Angel Franco, Florentino Franco, and Elva Franco; and 3 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 from 8:30 AM - 10:00 AM followed by a chapel service at 10:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home, 2020 N. Bedell Ave, Del Rio, Texas.

The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 5144 Hwy 90 East, Del Rio, Texas.
