Obituary

With deep sorrow, the family of Narcisa Gomez Gutierrez announces her passing on February 5, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on January 28, 1937, in Nueva Rosita, Coahuila, to Norberto and Seferina Gomez, she lived a life filled with love, laughter, and lasting connections.

Narcisa was devoted to her family and known for her unwavering love and care. Her vibrant spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her children: Mary Galindo (Victor), Guadalupe Gutierrez, Yolanda Saenz (Jorge Cienega), Sylvia G. Valdez (Ramiro), Adela Gutierrez (Thomas Nordstrand), Victor Raul Gutierrez (Deborah), and Roberto Gutierrez (Belinda Garcia). Narcisa is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Florice Galindo, Victor Galindo, Nancy Galindo, Vanessa Gurrusquieta, Henry Galindo, Romely Gutierrez, Tommy Gutierrez, Cristina Verde, Jimmy Saenz, Laurie Guerrero, Hector Saenz, Krystal Delgado, Matthew Valdez, Mariah Hernandez, Victor (Tito) Hernandez,Lauren Hope Knight, Erika Garcia, Ashley Gutierrez, Katie Gutierrez, and Ashton Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul M. Gutierrez, her parents, Norberto and Seferina Gomez, and her son, Rodolfo (Rudy) Gutierrez.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. ; with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday February 8, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at San Felipe Cemetery.

The family invites all to join them in celebrating Narcisa's life and legacy.

Narcisa will be remembered for her love of life, her hard work, and her devotion to her children and family. A passionate homesteader, she cherished the outdoors and found joy in the thrill of the casino's bright lights. Her kindness, generosity, and enduring love will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known her.

In celebration of Narcisa's life, the family requests that guests refrain from wearing black attire. Thank you.
