Misty Zercher Painter

July 8, 1984 – September 24, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Misty Zercher Painter. After a long and courageous battle, Misty is finally at peace.

Born on July 8, 1984, in New Braunfels, Texas. Misty dedicated her life caring for others as a nurse and was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. Her strength, compassion and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving husband, Klint Painter; her cherished sons, Kolton, Luke, and Logan; her parents Donald and Stacie Zercher, her brother, Justin Zercher and wife Lindsey; her sister, Billie Jo Zercher; her brother Johnny Zercher and wife Erin; her grandmother, Ava Booth; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Judy and Gary Lester; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Alvin Duane Booth.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to Elara Caring Hospice of New Braunfels or Eastside Baptist Church.

Thank you for your prayers, love and support during this difficult time as we celebrate a life well lived and find comfort in knowing she is finally at rest.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, 983 Holly Street, New Braunfels, Texas 78130.
